The youngest child from Italian father Barry Nelson and Mexican mother Josie Nelson. Three brothers are hers and a sister with the surname of Nathan Neal Nick. In her early years she was born by her parents in Concord California. She had always dreamed of becoming a pro soccer player as a kid but an injury to her ankle when she was in her senior year at high school prevented this to happen. The Pleasant Hill area of California was where she graduated with an associates degree in art, and later recovered to continue as a striking athlete in Diablo Valley College. She won Junior College All-American awards and then transferred to Arizona State University. Unfortunately the self-doubt of her caused her to quit playing soccer. She then went on to California State University Fullerton where she graduated with the degree of Business Management as well as a minor in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor's of Arts. After her studies, she moved into Los Angeles to pursue a profession in modeling acting as well as promotions. That's when she came across a casting call for the W.W.E. The talent scouts were impressed by her and she received an audition for four weeks. After that, she relocated to Orlando, Florida where she started her education in The Performance Center of the company. The show was renamed Total Divas W.W.E in May of 2013. show.
